Description

This micro-matrix is perfect for leisurely sifting through at home for smaller to medium sized species. It makes the perfect gift for your fossil hunting loved ones or even yourself!!!

The matrix is screened of sand and clay material using a 1/16″ screen.
Please note: Weight amounts per box will vary depending on the color of the material. Darker fossils tend to have a higher density due to extensive mineralization whereas lighter colored fossils weigh less. As a result, please note that weight amounts are irrelevant and that each box is filled to maximum capacity.
The remaining gravel is rich in micro-fossils including shark teeth, fish mouth plates, ray teeth, bone, vertebrae and more! One pound can produce upwards of 50 fossils. Kid friendly and great for at home fossil hunting activities!
